My Progress Throughout My Monologues

My Progress
I think I stayed in character during the whole monologue and found a deeper understanding for the monologue as I read it aloud. I could see my character's personality develop as I became more and more comfortable with what I wrote. I found the seriousness in my monologue and I tried to put myself in this little girl's shoes. I think if I had changed my tone or facial expression at certain points the monologue would've been more effective and might have been more convincing of a monologue.

I think my first monologue is pretty different from my second so they aren't easy to compare but they both consist of a little girl with a fear. They differ in the way that the first was almost bratty and self-centered while the second was just darker and lonely. I think each monologue had their better parts than the other, but overall I believe both were done with emotion and a deep understanding of the situation that was I trying to portray.
